In addition, these departmental ambassadors have been nominated to serve as the 2017-2018 CS Ambassadors in the College of Arts and Sciences. The nomination description and criteria are as follows:
These students are called on to share their ASU experiences with potential students and their parents at various events such as Scholars Day, Open Houses, Inside Appalachian and Next Step: Appalachian recruiting days, as well as with various constituencies such as our Advancement Council, scholarship donors, and even the Board of Trustees.
Nominees are articulate, outgoing, intelligent (3.0 GPA) and have a great story to tell. We will be looking for various student experiences such as study abroad, undergraduate research, internship experience, etc.
